1: Call to order – Bert Lowry called meeting to order 7:00pm.

A) Pastoral Care –There were 3Sympathy cards sent& 2 get well cards,Submitted by: Ruth Hanke
B) Mission & Service - Will be meeting in near future, nothing to report right now.
C) Ministry& Personnel -
M and P Committee Report
The Larger Parish approved Dawn Gardy's hire for Secreatary Treasurer and a Terms of Employment has been completed. Dawn has started her training with Leslie Dyck and it will continue until May 19. After that Dawn hours of employment will be Tues.-Fri. 9-1pm. so the office will now have coverage 4 partial days. To thank Leslie for completing the training, the M and P committee are taking her out for lunch on her last day. A gift for Leslie from our church and Larger Parish will be given to her at a later date possibly at the church picnic.
The M and P committee met on May 16. Items on the agenda were Kristin's request for holidays and study leave, collation of the survey, and setting goals for this coming year. Kristin presented her holiday and study request which the committee approved. The request has been sent to the Larger Parish for approval with the request that the a Larger Parish inform the GAP committee for supply ministry needs. The surveys and letters received were collated. A summary is being prepared for further discussion at follow up M and P meeting May 30.
D) Treasurer – report to march 31/16

E) Property – No report
F) UCW –Soup and Sandwich and Bake Sake held May 5th was very successful. The UCW will send 2 campers to Rock Lake Church Camp this summer. The UCW Fall Rally will be held in Neepawa on Thursday October 6, 2016. A list for clothing to be sent to Red Sucker Lake was given out so members can be watching for sales during the summer.
G) Ministerial – Kristen reported she had 3 funerals. Bible study Apr/May Neepawa, March in Brookdale. There was 1 baptism. Pentecost celebration was May 15. She will let drop in know UC not best option for space. A praise and worship service is being planned for August 28th 3:00pm@ Roxy. Remits for pastoral charge board putting out webinars to explain June 6 & 20th@ 7:30, voting will be held in fall.
H) Trustees – No report
I) Worship Committee–In celebration of Mother’s Day, $100 is to be spent on a gift with Vision, “Invest in small business” on page 8, Gifts with Vision. This is a project to help women in Guatemala who weave items to sell. It is a micro loan program.
Father’s Day is June 19. In the past we have served coffee and timbits after church, but have decided, instead, to purchase something from Gifts with Vision, as we did for Mother’s Day. We will choose the actual gift at our next meeting, but request that the Board approve the expense. ($100.)
Judy Elgert is contacting the high school for a list of grads. Grad Sunday would be June 19th or 26th.
June 5th –church picnic on the lawn at the Court House, after church. We will barbeque hot dogs, serve cold drinks, etc. We expect the costs to be similar to last year.
Susan brought up the idea of church service being at 10 AM in summer. This will be discussed at the board level.
J) Stewardship - No report
K) Presbytery – Presbytery was attended by Rowenna. Did deal with 3 Remits transfer and settlement (to eliminate it) Eliminating presbytery & conference to 1 court. Create an office of vocation (at general conference level)
L) Special Reports – Youth group going to country meadows this week. Next month camp trip.Childrens day will be a picnic. Sunday School will be wrapping up.

7. Old business:
A) Stewardship Campaign Update – No update.
B) 25 Year Celebration – Work on plans in fall.
C) Pastoral Oversight Visit – was cancelled( short of people ) looking at November 2nd or 9th.
D) May Brunch - $600 raised.
E)Canada Day Carnival- Next month meeting May 26th 5:00 pm
Game participation is coming together. Received several items from Brookdale to use. Need
volunteers for the day of. Town wants to implement $5 wrist band fee. Pastoral charge is

a) Drop in Centre will be using Library
b) New chairs for CEC. Donna & Jane will look at Evan’s chairs.
